The MCWT Foundation has a simple mission:we are dedicated to encouraging and fostering girls and women to develop and use their technology aptitudes.

Every gift from $10 to $100,000 is significant, because it means that you are giving a growth opportunity to a girl or a woman.

You are also contributing to the greater Michigan community of corporations, organizations and institutions who will benefit from a diverse, educated and talented workforce in the years and decades to come!

Some Foundation Initiatives Supported By Your Gift:

Education:

• Annual scholarships and laptop grants to University and post-University candidates;
• A yearly Summer technology camp for 4^th through 7^th graders;
• A High School technology interest group, to encourage “out of the box” technology projects and technically-oriented education and career plans;
• Sponsorship of Web development, programming, computer engineering, and Robotics teams in statewide and nationwide competitions.

“Real World” Programs:

• A technology “job shadowing” program for young women;
• University Special Interest Groups to encourage students to pursue careers and “life missions” in technology;
• An annual symposium designed to commingle successful women technologists and executives with University students.

Research:

Consistent collection and distribution of BEST PRACTICES documents for corporations, parents and teachers to assist in nurturing women in technology.
